Šrilanka je popularna popotniška destinacija že desetletja in vsakdo med nami gotovo pozna nekoga, ki je tam že bil. Ravno zato (delno pa tudi zato, ker nima tipičnih »maldivskih« plaž) ta otoška država v Indijskem oceanu nikoli ni kotirala visoko na listi držav, ki jih želim obiskati. Ampak splet okoliščin je nanesel, da sva jo letos februarja vendarle obiskala in se odpravila na 10-dnevno potovanje po Šrilanki s tuk-tukom.
Everyone knows someone who has been to Sri Lanka. Thousands of blogs feature the must-visit spots, including dining and (sponsored) places to stay. So, is my post going to be any different? Well, for one thing – it’s not sponsored. Second, I wish we had done some things differently. Last but not least we’re not typical tourists and sometimes we seek solitude instead of visiting all the popular places.
