Romantically Chaotic Hanoi

Wow, Hanoi, where do I start? 🙂 First of all, I’d like to say that if it weren’t for my job, I would have probably never visited it. I am not even sure why but I am not much of a fan of Asian destinations. I do know Thailand has awesome beaches. Been there done that. But that’s about it, right? Wrong, of course. I know Asia has a lot to offer, I just couldn’t seem to find the opportunity to go back. Until this April when I needed to visit Hanoi on business. It was a tough bargain but I managed to find a good distributor for our products in Vietnam. And after one year of “online relationship” it […]

5 things to see in Hanoi (Vietnam)

I visited Hanoi in April 2017 during my first business trip to Vietnam and Malaysia and I had just enough time to see & feel the city’s charm. Hanoi is very easy to explore, because most of the attractions are located around 2 lakes (both quite central), and the beauty of it is that you can rent a scooter and do it the way locals do – for tourists it might seem a bit chaotic, but it’s definitely exciting and memorable! Hotel review: Pan Pacific Hotel (Hanoi, Vietnam)

While searching for the accommodation in Hanoi for my business trip, it came as a surprise to me that hotels in the heart of Vietnam capital are relatively cheap. At first I chose a 3-star hotel with a perfect central location and very high ratings. Unfortunately it turned out that the location in the bustling area of Old Quarter was not my cup of tea (after 10 hours flight everyone needs a rest, right?) so I upgraded myself to a 4 star Pan Pacific hotel. A smart decision indeed! Location Pan Pacific hotel is located across the street from the West Lake, which offers very romantic day and night views, especially in higher floors. I got a room in 12th […]

Resort Review: Adaaran Select Meedhupparu (Raa Atoll, Maldives)

After the destination for our short winter escape was set, I searched for the options which could offer us the best combination of stunning beaches, all-inclusive options and hydroplane transport to the island. For a reasonable price, if that word is even allowed when travelling to Maldives. I hesitated between the Sun Island, Barefoot Eco Hotel and Adaaran Select Meedhupparu. With no doubt in my mind I can say that I made the best possible choice.
