Lovran is a small coastal town, located in the east coast of Istria peninsula, just a few kilometers south from more famous Opatija. It lies less than 30 km south from Slovenia-Croatia border crossing Jelšane and around 2 hours’ drive from where I live, so I visit the place quite often, however avoiding the crowds in summer season. We ran into Sea Breeze Motel by a pure coincidence when we picked up HotelCoupons book somewhere along the way on our Atlantic coast road trip. The stops on our road trip weren’t scheduled ahead due to the changing weather, so we were depending on our travelers luck. After the destination for our short winter escape was set, I searched for the options which could offer us the best combination of stunning beaches, all-inclusive options and hydroplane transport to the island. For a reasonable price, if that word is even allowed when travelling to Maldives. I hesitated between the Sun Island, Barefoot Eco Hotel and Adaaran Select Meedhupparu. With no doubt in my mind I can say that I made the best possible choice.
