Koda ni affiliate, znamko podpiram zato, ker so mi stesirani izdelki všeč. 😉

Hiking to Trolltunga
Ready for a detailed post about one of world’s most famous hikes? If hiking to Trolltunga is on your bucket list, do yourself a favor: take your time and read every word in this post. In my case, gathering information and writing a blog about Trolltunga took more time than the hike itself. I just couldn’t keep it shorter and leave anything out because this is exactly what I missed in other blogs: Incomplete information.
Hotel review: Grande Fjord Hotel (Geiranger, Norway)
If you are traveling to Western Norway, the famous Geiranger fjord will probably be on your “must-see” list. It is one of Norway’s most visited tourist points, especially since it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2005. Despite its popularity, there are not many options to stay near Geiranger fjord. Especially, if you want to spend the night in a small cozy village, located in the end of the fjord. There are a couple of hotels in Geiranger*, but you need to be super fast to get a room there. Luckily, Grande Fjord Hotel had a vacancy during our road trip and we decided to treat ourselves with a fjord-view room.
Hiking to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) in Norway
I am sure everyone has watched or at least heard of the Mission Impossible film series. Remember one of the scariest moments in the “Fallout” (2018) with Tom Cruise hanging from a cliff? Well, that cliff does exist and it is called Preikestolen or Pulpit Rock. Due to its amazing structure and relatively easy access, hike to Preikestolen is one of Norway’s most famous hikes. It was also the first hike on our West Norway road trip adventure, and it was everything I had hoped it would be. You can find tons of information about this hike online, so I will try to cut thing short and sum up the most important things to know before hiking to Preikestolen.
Hotel review: Lilland Brewery Hotel (Tau, Norway)
When I was searching for a hotel near Preikestolen, there were not many options to choose from, as it was almost a last-minute trip. We wanted to start the hike to Preikestolen early in the morning so we didn’t want to waste too much time driving from Stavanger. Lilland Brewery hotel was one of the few descent options with private bathroom at affordable cost. The location seemed convenient as well, so I booked a double-bed room for one night. We were pleasantly surprised!
